Taak Bi Ha and Taak Be Luum Cenotes

Cenote Taak Bi Ha

Cenote Taak Bi Ha, translated as the hidden route of water, is often considered one of the most beautiful cenotes of the Riviera Maya and it is easy to see why. The aqua blue water and limestone rock formations are truly a sight to behold. Diving here you will experience an extremely high level of visibility. Large stalagmites and stalactites hang from the ceiling and can be seen and swum through underwater. Large and small passages and rooms allow for an adventurous underwater exploration. The fragile nature of the rock formations mean that this dive is recommended for experienced divers.

Location:

50 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.

Cenote Taak Be Luum

Of all the cenotes to visit, Taak Be Luum is one of the most unique and one of the most hidden. Located deep within the jungle, it appears like a regular cave, however after dipping beneath the surface there is a whole new world to see. The cenote contains an interesting rock formation, that resemble bubbles along the cave walls. It is also host to many blind fish which can be encountered while diving. Taak Be Luum recommended for experienced divers due to the lack of light and enclosed nature of cave diving. Dive deep into the alien landscape contained in this other-worldly underwater landscape.
