Sian Ka’an Biosphere

Established in 1986 the Sian Ka’an Biosphere is a large and luscious nature reserve with a multiplicity of flora and fauna. The reserve is both partially on land and in the Caribbean Sea, with a section of coral reef home to dolphins, sea turtles, Caribbean manatees, and more. The land portion of the biosphere contains 23 known Mayan archaeological sites. With 300 different species of birds, 100 animal species, tropical forests, mangroves, and marshes there is ample nature to enjoy. This private guided tour option allows you to experience it all, with a private tour guide. Avoid the crowds and heat, as you enjoy one of the most beautiful tropical nature resorts Mexico has to offer.
Up to six people can go on this amazing experience. The tour includes a private round trip of the biosphere, amenities, a meal, and a free entrance into the park. Begin your tour earlier in the day to avoid other crowds and the heat. Make sure you bring swimwear, a hat, a camera, and towels before you set off on this amazing experience. You can enjoy either a full or half day in the Sian Ka’an biosphere, aboard a boat taking you into the lush mangrove forests and lazy rivers of southern Tulum. Ride through the landscape looking out for crocodiles and dolphins, before settling down for a lunch by the ocean.
