Garden of Eden and Taj Ma Ha Cenotes

Cenote Garden of Eden

Tucked away in the middle of a lush jungle is a little slice of paradise - the Cenote Garden of Eden. It is one the biggest and most beautiful cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula.

The name Garden of Eden Cenote is truly fitting and you will be impressed with its untouched beauty.

Here you will dive into crystal clear fresh water and see abundant aquatic plant life, rock formations covered in green moss, and slider turtles.

Garden of Eden is an open cenote that resembles a enormous natural swimming pool. the water is crystal clear and you can see straight through the bottom.

Cenote Garden of Eden is connected to a large system of caves. The roomy cavern is a perfect choice for a unforgettable beginner cavern experience. The dive takes the diver alongside the nearby Cenote Coral Garden where a breathtaking light shows awaits.

It is famous for it's incredible halocline and thermocline at 10 meters.

you will pass through a pronounced polycline and experience both the temperature and visibility layering difference between saline and fresh water. The optical illusion of air spaces in the cavern created by halocline is an incredible experience.

Cenote Chikin Ha

Chikin Ha is a cenote, known for the beautiful sunbeams which hit the water and extend below the surface. The colours of the aqua-blue water vary throughout the day depending on the position exposing stunning new views as the day progresses. This dive location is surrounded by lush tropical greenery reflected in the water, making for a truly awe-inspiring location. Below the water, this cenote contains grand sunbeams, tree roots, and deeper within, a halocline. A halocline is where salt and non-saltwater meet, forming a visible layer, which looks like an ‘underwater river’.
