Casa Cenote and Carwash Cenotes

Casa Cenote/Cenote Manati

Casa Cenote is a gorgeous and easy cenote to dive, making it a good option for beginner divers. This cenote is also known as Cenote Manati because it is thought that manatees once lived there. Unlike most other cenotes, Casa cenote is a river of mangroves whose roots hang down into the water. This cenote contains many species of crabs and fish which you will be able to see on your dive. If you’re looking to experience a peaceful atmosphere combined with a diversity of the flora and fauna found on the Caribbean coastline, diving Casa cenote is highly recommended.

Cenote Carwash/Aktun Ha

The carwash cenote is a rich underwater lagoon filled with abundant marine life. The name ‘carwash’ comes from the taxi drivers who used to wash their cars in it, as they could drive their cars up to the water level, however, don’t let the name fool you. With an easily accessible entrance, this cenote is home to many varieties of fish, turtles and water lilies’ providing an experience that is an absolute joy at all skill levels. Fallen trees can be seen silhouetted in the water, making for a dramatic and ethereal view. Drop beneath the summertime bloom of algae, or into the crystal clear waters of winter to see the stunning views this dive experience offers.
