Dive into Adventure: Discover the Range of Programs at Aquatech Divers in Playa del Carmen

At Aquatech Divers in Playa del Carmen, we offer a variety of programs to cater to different diving levels and interests.

Cavern Diving

To cater to OW (Open Water) divers, we can create a customized program ranging from 5 to 7 days, depending on your desired duration. Our dive sites near Playa del Carmen include the mesmerizing ocean reefs and a selection of beginner cenotes. You can find detailed descriptions of the beginner cenotes by visiting this link: Beginner Cenote Dives — Aquatech Divers.

Playa del Carmen

As an example, we can design a program that incorporates 2 days of ocean reef diving in the serene and beautiful waters of Playa del Carmen. One of these days, we can arrange a thrilling night dive to add a unique experience to the itinerary. Additionally, we can allocate 3 days specifically for exploring the beginner cenotes, providing an opportunity to venture into the captivating underwater cave systems. Should you desire to extend the diving days, we are flexible to include another 3-tank ocean dive and/or cenote dive to accommodate your preferences.

Tajma Ha

To cater to AOW (Advanced Open Water) divers, we have an exciting program that includes 1 day of diving the Playa del Carmen reefs, followed by 1-2 days of ocean diving directly in Cozumel via a speed boat. The Cozumel reefs offer deeper dives and stronger currents, making them ideal for AOW divers. We can also include a night dive as part of the program. In addition, we can arrange 3 or more days of cenote diving for AOW divers. Please refer to this link for descriptions of the advanced cenotes: Advanced Cenote Dives — Aquatech Divers.

Cozumel

For the first trip of cenote dives for AOW, I recommend the following itinerary:

Day 1: Garden of Eden and Tajma Ha

Garden of Eden

Day 2: The Pit, Dos Ojos, and Bat Cave 3 Tank Dive

The Pit

Day 3: Cenotes Angelita and Car Wash

Angelita

If you wish to add a 4th day of cenote diving, I suggest exploring Cenotes Hells Bells and Maravilla. Each of these dives offers a unique and amazing experience that you and your guests will thoroughly enjoy. It's important to note that since the caverns in the Riviera Maya are not deep, decompression is not needed.

For technical diving, we fully support full cave certified divers in the sidemount configuration. There are numerous beautiful cave diving opportunities available here, offering divers a chance to explore the stunning underwater cave systems.

We also offer seasonal events. Our "Diving with Bull Sharks" program in Playa del Carmen, which runs from November to February, offers an extraordinary experience. This adventure is specifically designed for Advanced Open Water (AOW) divers, taking into account the depth involved. You and your group will have the opportunity to dive alongside majestic bull sharks.

Additionally, our "Swimming with Whale Sharks" program in Isla Mujeres, held from July to August, promises an awe-inspiring encounter with these gentle giants. On certain days, you may have the chance to swim alongside hundreds of whale sharks, an experience that is truly remarkable.

In addition to diving, we can also arrange 1-2 days of land tours. I highly recommend the Sian Ka'an Biosphere and ruins and culture tour, which provide a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty and rich history of the region.
